Selen graduated from Ege University Department of Psychology with a high honors degree and completed her master's degree at Yıldız Technical University Guidance and Psychological Counseling master's program with thesis.

She did internships in various places throughout her academic life. She received “Acceptance and Commitment Therapy” training from the Association of Contextual Sciences and Psychotherapies and “EMDR Level I” training from Institute Ay.

She started her career as a research assistant in a research and consultancy firm and then worked as a research specialist. She gained experience in research design, project process follow-up and in-depth interviewing. She then gained valuable experience working as an expert psychologist in a counseling center and play workshop.

In addition to her professional career, she worked as a volunteer psychologist at “Bambu Voluntary Education Platform”. She continues her volunteer activities at the “Laughter Heals Association”.

Selen continues her work at Adisa with an approach that aims to continuously improve in a field that touches people and society in line with her values.
